The pods will have INTERNAL LIGHTING so that from the bridge, city or river you will see glowing pods, and when people inhabit the spaces it you will be able to see the ghostly, mysterious, delicate silhouettes inside. This is not only supposed to activate/trigger thoughts about the site and the beauty and ghostly nature of the site but make others want to be a part of it. Because essentially when you enter the site your shadow becomes part of the form you are part of the architecture. 

How the site appears to me. 
This site I think is vibrant but dark, it has melancholy and it has beauty.
Its darkness is something easy to ignore but I wanted to make it a beautiful darkness, something we appreciate rather than forget, soemthing we visit to understand and to connect rather than something we plonk onto the site that is devoid of all connection. I understand that this structure - a spiritial - zen - sort of find a release and take some time to remember and learn is an abstract concept for Brisbane. But I think it is this way of thinking that limits us in Australia. Just because it has not been done yet doesnt mean it shouldnt. Some of the most beautiful spaces are spaces we do not have in Australia but could be very successful should they be located in the correct spaces and cater to the correct demographic. I love peter zumthors thermal baths in vals switzerland and know these will not translate directly to the typcial subtropical area but something similiar that has an intimate connection to a beautiful landscape is step 1.
