Design Details - HOW IT WORKS

Attached are annotated digrams ilustrating how the structure is effective through the cut outs in the landscape, the raised pathways, the water platforms, underground sections containing hot pools, saunas, ect and other pools that reference the river, purification and cleansing.

Site Analysis

I started to re-do my site analysis so that it was more concise. Fitting multiple site issues on one diagram.
This will ensure my powerpoint is shorter, more effective and simple.
Also will give me more time to discuss my project.

Design Development

This part of the assessment I want to stick with the same concept - of memories, the invisible people and making people silently aware of this.

However, it needs to be a useable space both day and night. Therefore I want to keep the building lighter, brighter and more user friendly.

So far I have generated these ideas.

I am looking at how to heighten your awareness.

People will pass underground. Beneath the earth., A REFERENCE TO THE BUNKERS!

People will be provided with alternative access and egress routes  - for fire safety and also so the public can access these spaces.

ALL spaces in the building will be orientated towards views and how to achieve a humbled experience or an extreme experience.
